Damien is on AIR’s record label (Record Makers). Not a fan of all of his stuff but it’s also worth checking out “Mitzuki” – it’s very Serge Gainsbourg/Jane Birkin. So is The Frogs (yes he is French so he is allowed to make fun of them):
